Early Life
Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Eric Arndt grew up in Waldwick, New Jersey, where he attended Julia A. Traphagen School and Crescent School and completed his high school from Waldwick High School.
Arndt was good at football and continued his football career at Division III (NCCA) Salisbury University. Eric played as a linebacker and safety for the Sea Gulls from 2007 to 2009. Eric has a degree in journalism and has taken out on multiple career choices before landing in wrestling.

Before entering WWE, Enzo Amore heavily trained under Joe DeFranco for ten whole years. He used the ring name of Eric Anthony for a while and changed it soon after into Enzo Amore.

In the year 2013, he ended up losing his first match with Mason Ryan. Eventually, he teamed up with Colin Cassady using various names like Enzo and Big Cass, the most real guys in the room.
After breaking his leg with severe injuries in November 2013, he took complete bed rest for seven months. Upon his return in 2014, Enzo and Big Cass together competed in NXT Tag Championship, followed by NXT TakeOver -Fatal Four-way.

Enzo Amore Personal Life
Enzo Amore and Big Cass are not just wrestling buddies; they were close friends since their first meet at a Basketball game at the Cage of Manhattan, New York. They were united after ten years in NXT in July 2013.
However, things went sour when Arndt publicly criticized Morrissey for not completing their August 21 match due to knee injury. Their decade and a half long friendship ended in August 2017. However, the two have managed to reconcile since.
Sexual Assault Allegations
On January 22, 2018, Arndt was kept under investigation for an alleged sexual assault by the Phoenix Police Department. WWE suspended him due to violating their zero-tolerance policy, which involved sexual harassment and attacks.
He was accused of rape on January 23 in an interview. WWE fired him for not informing about the investigation. Enzo completely denied the allegations and later stated that he did not know of the study until it was made public. However, the case was ceased on May 16, 2018, due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
